My Classroom

My Writing wall!

My reading corner!

My reading rug, calendar, and word wall from 2 years ago!

Volcano mobiles and dinosaur glyphs from one of my favorite units to teach!

My door on the 100th day of school! Everyone got to walk through all day long!

One of my favorite activities that I created for my classroom: my math addition cups!

My kiddos have independent morning work every day!

One of my favorite projects that I created for my Patriotic themed open house: a flag with everyone's foot or hand print!

I LOVE my new word wall that I created this year!!

Our "story wall!" When I introduce a new read-aloud, we always talk about story elements. I laminated a piece of card stock under each sign and write on them with dry erase marker!

I like to "feature" two of my little writers in a special frame right by the classroom door each month!

Always give my kids visual directions so that they know exactly what to do! These number and supply signs are magnetic so I can stick them on any of my whiteboards.
