Happy Saturday friends! I am here with another FREEBIE for you all!

First off, I created a little meal planner for myself to help be more organized during the week. I know that I always do better at cooking and eating dinner at home Mon-Fri if I plan it out over the weekend! I decided that I needed a cute little organizer to motivate me, so… voila!

Hopefully I can stick with it!! If you'd like a copy of my meal planner, click on the picture above. :)

My next freebie is some Summer journal paper that I just uploaded to TPT!
I plan to send home some of this paper with my kiddos as part of their Summer review packet.

I included templates for June, July, and August.

Have a great Saturday! :)

It's Friday!! Hooray!! Continuing along on my May Freebies (3 more left).. I have a Math one for you today! I have been doing "beach math" with my kiddos during centers for the last few weeks, and it has been a big hit! Basically beach math is math word problems with a summer theme to it. My kids are getting great at reading along with these word problems and deciding how to solve them. It goes right along with our Kindergarten Common Core Standards too! :)

I have included a Freebie with some of my beach math pages for you. These pages are from my "Swimming into Summer" Pack found on TPT!

Here's what "beach math" looks like in my classroom:

A FREEBIE A Day 'Til the end of May- Day 1!

I am SO excited to announce that I will be featuring a new freebie on my blog every day for the last 5 days of May! I am hoping to gain some new friends and followers, and I also wanted to do something fun to keep my energy going for the last few weeks of school. :)
I have truly enjoyed starting this blog during this school year, and really appreciate all of my readers.
Thank you!!

I have been doing a "balloon countdown" activity to get my kiddos excited for Summer and made some fun signs for my door to go along with it!

Each day when my kiddos come in from lunch, I "pop" a balloon for them. Inside is a slip of paper with what their "reward" is for the afternoon. Some things are BIG, like extra recess or free play time. Other things are smaller like stickers, or stamps, but my kids are LOVING it so far!!

My freebie for you today is my signs for the door, along with ideas already written out to go inside your balloons! Enjoy friends!

Click on the picture above to download your FREEBIE!!

Be sure to check back tomorrow for my next freebie!

Have a great evening :)

Secret Admirer Blog Hop!

The blogger that I admire is my friend Cassie Thomas of Mrs. Thomas's Class!!
Cassie is just the sweetest, and has an AMAZING blog and TPT store! Click on her button to check out her blog. It has been an absolute pleasure getting to know Cassie through our blogs this year, as we are both "newbie" bloggers. :)

Mrs. Thomas's Class

Her product that I was able to review was her "Flyin' Through CVC, CVCC, CVCE, and Addition & Subtraction" Pack! And let me tell you, this pack is FULL of wonderful ideas and is completely leveled and differentiated to be used in any classroom.

Click on the picture above to see this pack in Cassie's TPT store! Stay tuned for a sample at the end of this blog post.

I decided to use this pack in my classroom this week with my "challenge reading group." They are always finishing everything early when I give it to them and I thought that Cassie's pack might be a fun early finisher activity to give them.

Because I was using these pages with my challenge group, I gave them the pages with CVC word pictures and a blank printing line. I LOVE that in this pack, there is also a version of the worksheets with some of the letters already filled in to help struggling students.
Here's how my little challenge group did:

The bonus part of this worksheet was that the kids get to create their own CVC word and draw a picture. What a great review this was for my kids at the end of the school year!

Another part of this pack that I used was the blank CVCE words worksheets. As you will see, my kids didn't stick to "CVCE" words, but used these sheets to review our spelling words for the week. We have been working on long o words with 'oa.' These sheets really helped them to review!

Included in this pack to go along with the "flying theme," Cassie has included actual airplanes with letters on them and a road for kids to drive the airplanes along the road as they are sounding out the words!! What a cute idea!! This pack would be PERFECT for introducing CVC words in the beginning of the year!

Click on the picture above for a sampler pack of Cassie's amazing pack! You will be able to try this fun pack out for yourself!! How cute are the roads with the airplane letters!?! I absolutely LOVE this pack!!

Thanks for stopping by! Make sure to "fly" on by Cassie's blog and TPT store too to check out her awesome products!

Teacher Appreciation and Blog Hop!!

Happy Teacher Appreciation Week!!! I am SO excited to be participating in a blog hop and giveaway honoring some of the hardest working and most dedicated people I know…. TEACHERS!!

Special thanks to Amy at Teaching in Blue Jeans for hosting!

The product that I am featuring in this blog hop is my CVC Short Vowel a Sentence Builder Pack:

Click on the picture above to see this product in my TPT store, and stay tuned for a FREE sample! I love using this product in my classroom because it is great to use in a variety of ways. I have used it for morning work, centers, whole group teaching, and even homework! Once my students understood the simple directions for these sentence builder worksheets, they were able to successfully complete them independently whenever I needed them to!

I recently used a couple of these pages to review short vowel a words as we have been working on long vowel a in my classroom. I want my students to recognize the difference between the two vowel sounds. Here's how this worksheet looks in my classroom:

Students start out by reading the sentence, and then cut out the mixed up words on the bottom. Next, they glue these words in the correct order in the box. They are then able to draw a picture to show that they understand the sentence, and finally they write the sentence as the very last step!

Here's how the worksheet looks when it is done:

If you would like to try this worksheet out in your own classroom, feel free to download the freebie below! Click on the picture to download:

And finally, I am participating in a giveaway where one lucky person will win not just MY pack, but 55 other awesome packs! WOW!!
Check it out!
